Our client is looking for a child support worker to join one of their most established teams based in Watford. The team supports children fleeing domestic violence and they need someone with an outstanding knowledge in this area. If you are a person who loves to help people and are passionate about supporting others then this is the opportunity for you. The client aims to promote a participative relationship enabling the clients to gain increasing independence and to develop their full potential.

Responsibilities will include:
Working with children fleeing domestic violence
Creating and implementation play plans
Liaising with external agencies and building relationships with service providers in the area
Ensuring that policies and procedures are fully complied with
To offer individual and group play sessions
To plan and ensure the implementation of a programme of play work sessions with children of all ages living in the refuge

Candidates for the post will need:
Passion towards helping vulnerable people within our society
Good experience of liaising with external agencies
Must have a qualification or equivalent to NVQ level 2
Good knowledge of supporting people funding and budget
An enhanced CRB disclosure issued within the last 12 months
