Moat is a housing association providing affordable homes in thriving communities for people in the South East. For over forty years, Moat has delivered high quality general needs homes for affordable rent, supported accommodation and tenancy support services, and has a strong affordable home ownership offer.
Due to a recent and exciting restructure, Moat is now seeking Team Managers to join us in ‘Delivering the Challenge’ – our 3 year business plan.
Experienced and with sound knowledge and understanding of the social housing sector, you will be tasked with leading the neighbourhood teams in the delivery of management services, ensuring full compliance with Moat service standards. Drawing on your management skills, you will implement a strong performance culture throughout the area team, delivering on set KPI targets.
Among other duties, you will be managing the performance of service providers; challenging any non-performers, ensuring estate inspections are in accordance with set procedures, and ensuring that enforcement action is taken on any anti-social behaviour cases and any other breaches of tenancy agreements & lease conditions.
You should be an effective problem solver who is driven to deliver the highest quality customer service.
An excellent communicator, you will be able to positively influence others and you will be comfortable with the art of negotiation. You should be able perform well under pressure, with your IT skills enabling you to produce quality work within tight time constraints.
