Interim HR Advisor Required

A leading International NGO are actively recruiting an HR Advisor. Reporting to the HR Director and responsible for the Recruitment Officer. You will be closely linked to the field carrying out international recruitment.

The main purpose of the role is to be responsible for providing a professional and effective human resource service for managers and staff in a portfolio of countries, and to provide advice to country management teams on local staff employment. This role is also responsible for reviewing and improving HR policies & procedures, and for leading on specific HR projects and initiatives.

This is an opportunity for a robust solid HR Advisor to really shine and bring their knowledge to good use. They are looking for somebody who has experience of proactively identifying and addressing issues.

HR Advisor will have;

*CIPD part-qualified (known as Associate or Graduate from July 2010)

*Staff management experience

*Experience of providing an HR service to a multi-site operation

*Experience of providing a range of HR policy advice including disciplinary and grievance to managers and staff

*Strong experience of developing and implementing HR Policies, procedures and projects

*Good experience of undertaking and supervising payroll as you will responsible for the international payroll

Desirable;

*Experience of working for an International NGO in the development / humanitarian sector

*Knowledge of international HR practises and issues

*Experience of designing and delivering training
