Senior Support and Development Worker 6 month contract

£26,331 pro rata – West London

Part time – 10 hours per week over two days

We are currently seeking a Senior Support and Development Worker to supervise and manage 3 outreach workers for young people in the West London area. It is essential that you have experience of working with young, vulnerable people, providing support across a range of areas.

We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants who have experience in the following areas:

- Experience of leading others to perform in meeting challenging targets

- Experience of supervising & carrying our appraisals

- The ability to assess the needs of young homeless people

- Experience working with young people who are care experienced and/or have support needs including substance misuse, and mental health

- Report writing, monthly reports and carrying out audits

- A good knowledge of the resources available to young homeless people (benefits, learning and work opportunities, legislation about their rights to social services support and housing and the ability to be seen as a reliable source of support and advice
