Hammersmith & Fulham Family Intervention Project is a service for
families with a long history of anti-social behaviour and poor parenting.
They have committed to changing their behaviour and providing better
care for their children.
You will be the keyworker for a small number of families, providing them
with emotional support, and assistance with practical problems such as
housing and debt. You will use advocacy and mediation to help them
rebuild relationships and stabilise their lives.
This is a demanding role, so you will need to be assertive and have strong
interpersonal skills. However, you will have the backing of a multidisciplinary
team and close supportive supervision through Family Action’s
Manager and Project Team. You must have a professional and/or a
relevant degree-level qualification and extensive experience of providing
one-to-one support. You will have a good understanding of families with
complex needs, from a wide range of backgrounds, and of the services
available to them.
Appointments are subject to Family Action receiving an enhanced disclosure
from the Criminal Records Bureau which we consider acceptable.
