Night Support Worker
Are you looking for an opportunity to work for a leading support charity and manage the health and safety of a general needs support service for young people overnight? My client, based in Hertfordshire is looking for a Night Support Worker to manage the hostel overnight along with a small caseload of clients.

Candidates require:

• Experience of working in a hostel or supported housing setting preferably with young people and keyworking a caseload of clients.
• Experience of keyworking young people with support issues including drug and or alcohol misuse, family breakdown, history of offending and low needs mental health issues.
• Experience of managing health and safety.
• Ability to deal with anti social and challenging behaviour and crises
• A CRB issued within 12 months

Candidate duties will include:

• Managing the health and safety of the service overnight
• Dealing with Anti-social and challenging behaviour in the hostel as well as enforcing curfews and keeping a record of visitors.
• Sending out rent statements to residents and offering accommodation based and benefits advice.
• Communicating incidents clearly in the communications book
