We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic and flexible Support Worker to join a North London based Supported Housing Project for single people with mental health problems. This is a temporary position which will involve SHIFT WORK and WEEKENDS and SLEEP INS and is an ideal opportunity for someone who has the passion to support people and empower them to move on to more independent accommodation.

As Support Worker you will be accountable for supporting a small caseload within a supported housing environment to identify short and long-term goals which will ultimately empower them to live more independently and move on. Your customers will have links with agencies including the CMHT, and you will also be liaising with Social Services, Benefits Teams, DATs etc to ensure that your customers have links with the appropriate services. You will be reviewing support plans through continual assessment of risk and needs and keyworking clients regularly to ensure that all their support needs are met.

The successful applicant to this position MUST be able to commit to shifts across 7 days.. This is a good opportunity for someone with good knowledge of the issues affecting individuals with identified mental health needs and someone who is able to engage individuals and help them to develop the life skills to move on to more independent accommodation.
