This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced HR Co-ordinator to be the first point of contact to managers and staff providing timely and accurate support and generalist HR guidance.

We are a specialist provider of mental health services, and one of the biggest voluntary sector providers of mental health care in England, employing around 900 people and with a turnover of £30m. We work with over 6,000 people living with the effects of mental health problems in over 100 services across the country. We have recently been joined by 2Care, a progressive national charity, providing innovative rehabilitation and recovery services to adults with long-term mental health conditions.

As HR Co-ordinator, you will:
• Work closely with Payroll and Recruitment functions, managing the administration for the whole employee lifecycle including new starters, leavers, contract variations and payroll implications keeping HR records, manual and electronic, updated
• Monitor compliance of HR Policies and Procedures such as absence management, probationary periods, appraisal returns and informal capability/conduct issues
• Deliver initial and ongoing guidance and support to line managers
• Provide HR Management Information
• Participate in development, supervision and training

You must have:
• Intention to work towards CIPD membership
• Experience of giving HR guidance, advice and administrative support in a busy environment
• Good knowledge of HR policies and procedures and employment law
• Attention to detail
• IT literacy, numeracy, and good communication skills
• Ability to manage conflicting demands and deadlines
• Enthusiasm for change, improvement and innovation
